Waxing Is Still A Common Method Of Hair Removal
Despite the growing popularity of hair removal methods such as laser and IPL, waxing is still the most popular in-salon method of hair removal in Australia. The reason for this is that it is;
- quick, affordable (on a per treatment basis) and produces longer-lasting results than at-home methods such as shaving and depilation.
- It is also one of the most time-effective ways of removing hair from large areas such as back and legs.
The other main advantage is that waxing is suitable for the most delicate areas of the body that require hair removal - including the face, underarms and bikini area. Clients who regularly had waxing treatments notice finer regrowth in the treated area and eventually very little regrowth at all.
