Blue eye shadow can often be misrepresented as a dated fad that
should be left behind in the 1980’s. However, colour has
made a massive comeback this summer and a bit of blue shadow
can be your best friend!
How to wear blue eyes ...
All you really need to know when thinking about wearing blue
eye shadow is what tone of blue is the best for you, and the
way in which to wear it.
Here are some tips that will help you out ...
-
Blue eye shadow on blue eyes will help to emphasise the
blue. The closer you can match the colour of blue to
your eyes, the more dazzling they will look.
-
If your eyes have more of a green tone, wear more aqua
tones of blue. Sea Glass eye shadow in the Mermaid Quad
will be a perfect shade for you.
-
For brown eyes, most shades of blue will work, always
take into consideration what your skin tone is and
always remember...less is more when it comes to blue
shadow!
-
A great tip for wearing blues eyes is to make the rest
of your makeup quite neutral in colour. Blue eyes look
great with a nude or very sheer wash of colour on the
lip. Consider just using bronzer on your cheeks, or, if
you do choose to wear blush, use a sheer wash of colour
such as Sherbet Crushed Blush or Petal Pressed Blush.
-
Don’t think that wearing blue eye shadow means having to
wear a full- blown smoky eye. Try using your choice of
blue eye shadow as an eye liner or incorporating some
blue into a bronze or charcoal eye makeup.
The “Mermaid” eyeshadow quad shades include: Pink Pearl (shimmer
pinkish purple), Abalone (shimmer periwinkle), Ocean
(shimmer sky blue) and Sea Glass (shimmer true aqua).
Create the perfect burst of blue
for the eye this summer ...
-
Apply your foundation of choice, finish with Mineral
Rice Setting Powder and Mineral Radiance to contour
where desired.
-
Using the Deluxe Eyeshadow Brush, apply Pink Pearl
Eyeshadow (Mermaid Quad) over the entire top eye lid, up
to the crease of the eye.
-
Using the Crease/Smudge Brush, press Sea Glass Eyeshadow
(Mermaid Quad) into the outer corners of the eye. Using
the same brush, blend the colour along the lash line and
into the crease of the eye, be careful to not take the
colour to high. Also apply this colour to the bottom
lash line using the Angle Eyebrow Brush, keeping the
colour to the outer corners of the eye.
-
Using the Angle Eyebrow Brush, press Abalone Eyeshadow
(Mermaid Quad) along the entire bottom lash line
-
Line the top and bottom lash line and inner rim with
Blackest Black Eye Liner.
-
Apply generous coatings of Blackout Lengthening Mascara
to the upper and lower lashes.
-
Using the Contour Blush Brush, apply Sherbet Crushed
Blush to the apples of the cheeks.
-
Groom and fill brows using the appropriate shade of
Artiste Brow Kit.
-
Matte out natural lip colour with a small amount of
Ultimate Concealer, and finish lips with Parfait Lip
Shine.
If
you just want to add a hint of colour to
your look- here’s an easy way to do
it ...
-
Apply your foundation of choice, finish with Mineral
Rice Setting Powder and Mineral Radiance to contour
where desired.
-
Using the Deluxe Eyeshadow Brush, apply Gilded Pressed
Eyeshadow over the entire top eye lid, up to the crease
of the eye.
-
Using the Crease/Smudge Brush, apply Topaz Pressed
Eyeshadow to the outer corners of the eye and along the
lash line - blending up into the crease.
-
Mix some Sea Glass Eyeshadow (Mermaid Quad) with a small
amount of water and apply to the top and bottom lash
line using the Angle Eyebrow Brush. If more intensity of
colour is desired press more Sea Glass Eyeshadow dry
over the top of line.
-
Line the top and bottom lash line and inner rim with
Blackest Black Eye Liner.
-
Apply generous coatings of Blackout Lengthening Mascara
to the upper and lower lashes.
-
Using the Contour Blush Brush, apply Blossom Pressed
Blush to the apples of the cheeks.
-
Groom and fill brows using the appropriate shade of
Artiste Brow Kit.
Finish Lips with Devotion Lip Gloss.

Testimonials From Our Clients
"I
just want to take the time to say
what fantastic and prompt service I
have received from you. I received
my parcel of Thalgo today express
post . Everything was great and so
quick. Thanks for keeping
me informed of what was happening
and I will be ordering from you
again. How easy you don't need to
move from your house and your parcel
gets delivered right to your door.
The free delivery sets you above the
rest. Well done". (Daniela,
Blawin, VIC)
"I
just wanted to say thank you for
sending the products, they arrived
yesterday safe and sound.
I'll be definitely ordering from
you from now on. My husband has
already asked me if I can order
Thalgo products for men. The
discounts offered are wonderful (I
saved over $30), and to receive the
products the next day without a
delivery fee is a fantastic service.
It's amazing, it's actually much
cheaper and easier for me to
purchase online from you, thousands
of kms away than to go to my usual
beauty therapist in Perth!
Thank you again." (Amanda, Perth
WA)
"The
order has arrived. Thank you
very much. Much faster then where I
normally purchase my skincare
online. Look forward to my next
order!" (Emma, Dysart, QLD).
